About Sunday Chukwu

Sunday chikaodinaka Chukwu Is a multi talented artist who has successfully excelled in all spheres of the art which includes the visual arts and the performing art, a motivational speaker and an orator, he Is a graduate of the department of fine and applied art, university of Benin where he specialized in sculpture, though using mild steel as a medium for his expression both of two and three dimensional representations.

Chukwu has erected many outdoor sculptures all in metal in various cities here in Nigeria and has sold some in the diaspora ranging from different sizes and themes, one of his best sculpture work is the one erected in the university of Benin, Ekehuan campus as an undergraduate, the sculpture is a monumental work the shows a fierce scuffle of man and robot(technological developments) ,other works includes the sculpture of "odogwu" the drummer in Tran's Amadi, portharcourt, "EDUCATION",sculptures of students in St. Clement secondary school Gbaiko, Minna Niger state and so many other life size,miniature and silhouette sculptures which are all in metal.

Out of diligence and Hardwork with service to humanity, the vice chancellor of the university of Benin, Prof. FFO ORUNMWESE has commended CHUKWUMEREMEZE in several occasions which includes the works done on the visit of the German consul Mr. Robert ingo, the visit of the formal NUC executive secretary general Prof. Julius okojie, and also a performance presented at the eminent lecture series titled CULTURE AT RISK presented by prof. Akinwande Wole Soyinka which was laudable.

In a quest to serve humanity, chukwu have served as a teacher in various levels, thought fine art in FEMA SCHOOLS AND ST CLEMENT CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL all in Minna and also a guest lecturer to train Corp members in the NYSC skill accusation and entrepreneurship development (SAED) to teach creative Arts and received accolades from the institution.

Chukwu has also received academic awards as a juggernaut and virtuoso in his field of endeavors...
